We've got big plans for Adventria and a lot of great ideas. Here's a look at some of the new features we're hoping to bring to the site in the near future.

1. a deal of the day - Yes, Groupon and Wagjag are starting to wake up and offer outdoor adventutes more frequently but they seem to be focused on one niche, whitewater rafting. Adventria aims to expand on this, bringing in great deals on hiking, kayaking, ziplining, snowboarding, and plenty of other great outdoor adventure deals.
2. direct adventure tour bookings - A lot of adventure companies have completely adapted to the online world, but there still remain a large number that have no online booking option. Integrated into our searchable database of adventure tour companies, Adventria will soon introduce an online booking option for select tours.
3. free websites for tour operators - In this day and age a company website means everything to its customers. Adventria will offer a free company website, hosted on Adventria, with all the necessary company info and contact details.
4. points - A user point system is in development, Adventria users will be able to collect an assortment of points for posting/interacting with Adventria and for outdoor adventures that members undertake. Prizes and awards will routinely be handed out!
5. the forums - Right now it's a ghost town BUT it's new and to be honest, somewhat hidden. We want to bring the forums to the forefront. Create subforums for adventure tour companies, outdoor adventures, lesser know areas for adventure, and gear reviews.

Adventria is a growing resource for outdoor adventure enthusiasts looking for tour operators in Canada and other adventure seekers. Search through over 350 outdoor adventure tourism companies from coast to coast and add pictures and videos from your latest adventure.

We didn't start out too long ago. Our goal was to create one resource for all Canadians to use for outdoor adventure from coast to coast. We launched the first Adventria website with a simple one page site, listing the provinces and territories as headings and website links to tour operators in each region.

Our directory of adventure tour operators has grown, and so has the Adventria website. We've converted to a more modern content management system and added a search function for specific adventures and regions. Our one way links to tour operator websites have become full page profiles for each company hosted on our site. We've added a photo and video gallery, a collection of adventure articles, and a hugely interactive online community where adventure seekers can meet one another and connect with tour guides and adventure company representatives.

We've embraced social media by joining and utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, and countless others. Our reach has extended across the globe and our young Adventria website has now been visited by 68 countries and all but one country in Europe (come on Estonia!) Recently, we've added an online store that offers more affordable prices on high end road and mountain bikes, just in time for summer!
